This week my counselling homework (self-chosen) is to explore Who I Am. So I went to the library and took out some books on neuroscience and anatomy, so to start with the body. Who Am I? I am a human. What is a human?

Feeling all calm and good after party last night. Thanks H & P. Family energy is sooo soft and good. Mom's on the phone (forever) with Ingrid, talking like Michele or Laura and I talk - about everything and nottin. Thank GOD I am back in the land of real friendships. Outside is layered with snow and I can see a pink rose with a tuft of white from where I'm sitting. Today I broke through a frigid part of me called jealousy and looked at S's flickr photos where I know he has photos of his girlfriend. She looks nice enough and I am surprisingly unaffected - ok, so he has a g/f and she looks innocent and sweet. Guess he has and always had good taste. Argh though, that all those years of building a relationship has to be put aside. Good thing the new guy is coming soon (wherever he may be). Realized today that my get up of choice is a long dress with boots while walking through the forest.

I am a foster mom now!! I volunteer for the human society and take care of kittens and cats for short terms parenthoods. My first bunch are adorable, and I want to keep them, but I won't. Well, maybe one....
